Xorcom XR0124 Hardware Echo Cancellation - 32 Channels

The Xorcom XR0124 is a 32 channel hardware echo cancellation module. It is required in every appliance that you wish to have echo cancellation on. The XR0124 provides up to 32 channels of echo cancellation, additional channels of echo cancellation must be purchased by the type of port you are using to access the channel.

Xorcom XR0124 Overview

Xorcom has designed a hardware echo canceller module for its award-winning Astribank telephony interfaces and Asterisk-based IP-PBX appliances. The module provides a high level of echo cancellation and voice enhancement while reducing load on the CPU, as compared to OSLEC, the software-based echo cancellation solution provided in the standard Asterisk framework.

Each separate device (Astribank / XR1000 / XR2000 / XR3000 / XE2000 / XE3000) requires a single Echo Canceller card. The hardware echo canceller option includes 32 voice channels and support for up to a total of 144 channels. All ports/channels in the chassis need to be licensed for the module to function. Additional channels are licensed in bundles based on the telephony interface type:

Additional PRI Port (P/N LC0020): License(s) necessary for 2nd, 3rd, 4th activated PRI port(s) in the chassis. Astribanks with 6 or more PRI ports installed already include echo cancellation and do not need additional hardware.

Additional Analog Module (P/N LC0021): License(s) support(s) additional analog (FXO or FXS) module(s) in PRI or BRI chassis configuration (Module is an 8-port cluster)

Additional BRI Channels (P/N LC0022): License(s) support(s) up to 16 voice channels, in two channel bundles
