Ruckus R510 Indoor Access Point Overview

The Ruckus R510 802.11ac Wave 2 Indoor Access Point is the ideal access point for medium-sized indoor spaces. Utilizing the same patented technologies located in the Ruckus premier high-density APs, it supports data rates up to 1.2Gps as well as Wi-Fi intelligence to broaden the range and mitigate interference. The R510 Access Point is perfect for medium-sized environments such as both small and medium-sized enterprises, common areas such as hotels and office buildings, retail stores, and even branch offices. In hotel common areas the R510 delivers top-of-the-line wireless access. It will provide high-quality video devices, wireless IP phones, and portable point-of-sale scanners with secure, inconspicuous networking in retail stores. In addition, the R510 supports next-generation 802.11ac functionality such as MultiUser MIMO (MUMIMO). It will send data to multiple client devices at the same time, greatly increasing airtime utilization and total throughput for all users—including those with non-Wave 2 clients. The R510 also has a USB port that can be used to connect IoT devices like Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE).
