The SmartNode 5570 eSBC offers 1 or 2 T1/E1/PRI ports as well as cutting-edge security technology. The high-definition G.722 codec, transcoding for up to 16 SIP-to-SIP calls, and QoS provide the best voice quality over IP. The one-of-a-kind Web Wizard makes installation simple and painless, and allows technical people to build their own Web interface. The SN5570 will serve as the service demarcation point for SIP Trunk service providers thanks to the separate config domain functionality. Only the configuration settings facing the LAN IP PBX may be modified by the local administrator. The SN5570 can also handle VoIP call transcoding with up to 16 simultaneous calls. Converting G.722 codecs on the LAN to G711 codecs on the WAN, for example. The SN5570 Series models, like all SmartNodes, are cutting-edge eSBCs that also provide full policy-based IP routing. The Patton SmartNode SN5570 is a VoIP product that meets ISDN requirements in terms of features and quality while also resolving SIP to SIP interoperability problems for service providers and network integrators.
