The Patton SmartNodeTM 4740 Series VoIP Gateway links computers, faxes, and PSTN trunk lines to the All-IP based Centralized Networking system, such as SIP Trunks, IP PBXs, Hosted Solutions, and more. All industry-standard Codec is enabled by the SN4740, guaranteeing toll-quality voice on every call. Patton Cloud's Call Quality Assessment and Monitoring functions, along with E-Mail or SMS notification, ensure that Service Level Agreements are met with minimal effort at the customer's location. By using Patton Cloud's remote control functions, it is possible to avoid Call Quality issues and decrease the overall time to resolve them. The integrated call-router features least-cost call routing as well as dialed-number schedule simplicity. In the event that the IP network crashes, the SmartNode survivability suite offers SIP Trunk and PSTN fallback to ensure business continuity. Furthermore, the SmartNode ensures a seamless transition to All-IP by receiving incoming calls from the PSTN while the VoIP service provider's number porting operation is in progress.
