The Patton SmartNode SN5301/4B/EUI is apart of Patton's 5300 eSBC Series. It is an enterprise-based session border controller that gives you the functionality and features you desire for voice and data network applications. The SmartNode 5300 Session Border Controller is a combination of SIP routing and strong quality of service IP routing features to construct the perfect reliable VoIP and data networks.

The Patton SN5300 attaches to the IP-PBX or UC system in the Enterprise's LAN and to an Internet telephony service provider (ITSP), building a single conduit for multimedia components in addition to voice, video, and data. The SN5300 helps you in deploying, troubleshooting, and even security all while expanding the flexibility of your network. The SN5300 also allows protocol conversions between two networks to alleviate interoperability issues for products utilizing SIP TCP signaling only.
