The Patton Micro Analog Telephone/Fax to VoIP Adapter (SN200/1JS1V-SKD) is a device that allows you to connect traditional analog telephones or fax machines to a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) network. This particular model comes in a semi-knockdown (SKD) configuration. The SN200/1JS1V-SKD adapter provides one FXS (Foreign Exchange Station) port, which is an RJ11 port used to connect analog devices. The adapter essentially converts the analog voice or fax signals into digital packets that can be transmitted over an IP network.
