By connecting to the Asterisk IP-PBX server via USB 2.0 instead of intermediating PCI like other channel banks, these easy-to-setup USB channel banks are designed specifically for Asterisk Open Source PBX systems.

With up to four ports per PRI module, and up to eight ports per BRI module, Astribanks support individual software activation of each port, giving you extremely flexible channel banks that grow with your telephony demands. In addition, Xorcom Astribanks provide optional remote activation that allows you to activate your port via a software key and optional add-on analog modules that give you a maximum of 32 analog ports.

Xorcom Astribanks is a channel bank specifically designed for Asterisk IP-PBX. Supports common telephony lines and trunks. FXS, FXO, BRI, E1/T1 PRI, T1 CAS, and E1 R2. The Astribanks driver is a part of the standard Asterisk distribution.
