The Cisco Catalyst 2960-X and 2960-XR Series Ethernet Switches are easily stackable, scalable, and configurable for your enterprise-class branch office or corporate branch. They're based on Cisco IOS® software and can handle both basic system and network management. The Cisco Catalyst 2960-X and 2960-XR Series allow for simple system setup, configuration, and monitoring. These switches have advanced Layer 2 and Layer 3 capabilities, as well as the ability to control through Power-over-Ethernet (PoE+). The Cisco Catalyst 2960-X Series Ethernet Switches also support an external redundant power supply. There is a fixed power supply as well as the option of using an external redundant power supply (Cisco Redundant Power System [RPS] 2300). The Cisco Catalyst 29060-X and 2960-XR Switches also feature a user-friendly computer management system that includes a web-based interface, Bluetooth over-the-air connectivity, Command-Line Interface (CLI), Basic Network Management Protocol (SNMP), and RJ-45 or USB console access.
