What SIP Phone Could Connect Wirelessly?
Q: I would like to propose a 3CX phone system to an old 60 room hotel. Can you recommend a SIP desktop phone that could connect wirelessly?
A: We are unaware of any WiFi phones that are supported by 3CX so far. Please follow this link to see the SIP phones that are supported by 3CX: http://www.3cx.com/sip-phones/
You have the option to use DECT phones instead. However, please be aware that DECT phones and WiFi phones are different. DECT phones don’t connect via your WiFi signal. For more information please read our blog: DECT 6.0 vs. WiFi: A comparison of two types of VoIP phones
The DECT phones available for 3CX system include:
- Snom M Series: M300, M700
- Dect Base Yealink DECT Series
- Gigaset DECT Series
- Panasonic DECT Series
