December 3, 2018 by Ying-Hui Chen

Are you a busy multi-tasker just like many other Polycom VoxBox users? If yes, then you will love Polycom’s VoxBox conferencing speakerphone!

The VoxBox allows you to pair with up to 10 devices and connect with up to 2 devices at the same time, making it a perfect conferencing speakerphone for huddle spaces and anywhere you travel. Today we are going to show you how to pair your VoxBox with multiple Bluetooth devices. Let’s get to it!

How to Pair My Bluetooth Devices with the VoxBox Speakerphone

The pairing process is fairly simple, just following the steps:

  • Turn on your VoxBox
  • Press and hold the Bluetooth button until the status indicator flashes blue. Now you are in the “Pairing Mode”.
  • On the device you want to pair with, select “Polycom VoxBox” from your Bluetooth pairing list.
  • Repeat the same process for other devices you’d like to pair with

You are all set! Note that, although you can pair with up to 10 devices, the speakerphone can only transmit audio for one device at a time. If you want to switch to a certain device, just make sure you disconnect the VoxBox from other devices under Bluetooth settings.

Grandstream GXP2100 Series Security Q&A Session

Question 1: Firmware is constantly coming out. What is the firmware that is suggested to get all of these security settings capable?

Answer: The live demo today in the webinar is the beta version. But everything you see in the demo is available on the official firmware version. The latest firmware version has them all.

Question 2: I did an update to a site with 107 GXP21XX phones and when it asked for password change, I changed it but then it locked me out of the phone. It would ask for a password change every time and I couldn’t get around it.

Answer: This is not related to phone bugs, it can be related to your browser. Sometimes you changed the password and the browser still has the old information. I suggest you clear the browser cache or try using a different web browser.

Taking A Closer Look At The Sangoma s305 IP Phone

November 19, 2018 by Steve Lopian

It’s safe to say that every business needs phones. The need to call out and receive calls is vital and that’s why it is so important to have something sturdy and reliable.

But what kind of sturdy and reliable phones does a business need? Well, I think we can all say that depends on the type of business. With the wide range of VoIP phones out there, it would take you forever and a day to research them all.

So what we did here at VoIP Supply was pulled aside a phone that we think is a great fit for almost any work environment – The Sangoma s305!

While this may be considered an entry-level VoIP phone, we found that it was anything BUT entry level.  This thing is packed with features that you won’t get on every phone in its category.

Features like 5-way conferencing, XML browser and PoE are just a few examples of what you will get when buying the s305, and at $89.00, the price point is very nice as well.

If you want more info on this high-quality IP phone, then tune in below to see our video review.  Marc Spehalski will not only go over important features and functionality, but we will also put the s305 up against the recently discontinued s300.

In the end, we really…really liked what we saw from the Sangoma s305 and we are sure this VoIP phone will be a great fit for just about any business.

Still unsure? Give one of our VoIP experts a call at 1-800-398-8647 and find out if the s305 is right for you!

Are you currently using an s305? If so, let us know what you think in the comments below. We want to know!
