#1 What are the Benefits to Sangoma Partners?

  • Profitability enhancement: Deal registration adds additional gross profit margin to an already profitable sale. 
  • Account control: If a registered prospect contacts Sangoma, we can refer the prospect back to the partner, and brief the partner on any communication that has taken place directly with Sangoma. 
  • Special pricing and promotion eligibility: Price deviation requests and promotions will be honored only for those opportunities that have been forecasted. 
  • Opportunity Referral: Partner registration activity will be considered when reviewing partner eligibility for leads opportunities. 
  • Greater discount spread between partner levels: Higher-level partners will receive larger deal registration incentives than lower level partners. This widens the discount spread between levels and further protects margins of higher-level partners.

#2 What are the Partner Qualifications?

  • Gold or Silver Partners in good standing with Sangoma are eligible. 
    • Must have completed training requirements to have at least one company level certification (Switchvox or PBXact) 
    • Must have met demo purchase requirement 
    • Must promote Sangoma on web site, if other vendor brands are promoted 
  • Must be headquartered in the US or Canada

#3 Is my opportunity qualified?

  • Customer must be an end user, headquartered in the U.S. or Canada 
  • Deal must not already be registered to another partner 
  • Registration is valid for 120 days 
  • Deals must be registered at least (30) days before closure 
  • Allow 1 additional renewal for 120 days 
  • Partner must provide regular and complete account updates in order to remain registered to the deal 
  • Deal must have a minimum value of $3500 MSRP in USD 
  • Deal Registration Discounts are ONLY valid for the following product categories as indicated on the published price lists. They include: Switchvox, PBXact, Phones, Headsets, Gateways, Cards and other products (excludes FreePBX add-ons, Asterisk add-ons, CCD, third party products and some cables and accessories)

How to Troubleshoot Jabra’s PanaCast When the Video Image Doesn’t Show

Nothing is more frustrating when your web camera is not working properly! When that happens, here are a few things you can try:

  1. Have you selected the Jabra PanaCast as the default video device in your video conferencing application?
  2. If you are using a Windows OS computer, is your camera being detected under Imaging Devices or Camera in the Device Manager?
  3. Can the problem be a bad cable? 
    • You should use the included 1m/3ft cable or the optional Jabra 1.8m/5.9ft cable.
    • You can try another original Jabra PanaCast cable with a working camera to rule out the cable issue.
  4. Are you using a USB extender cable or USB hub solution? 
    • Click here to check if your cable is from Jabra’s approved list of extender cable and USB hub solutions.
  5. Does your PanaCast camera have the latest firmware? 
    • You can use Jabra Direct to check for updates and install the latest firmware. 
    • Using the latest firmware will avoid issues.

Q&A: What Are The Default Usernames and Passwords for Sangoma’s IP Phones?

Sangoma’s IP phones come with default usernames and passwords. Once your phones are provisioned by Endpoint Manager or Switchvox, the default passwords for the devices will be replaced. 

Here is a list of the default credentials for Sangoma’s IP phones:

The Default Credentials for the P310, P315, D-Series, and A-Series IP Phones

The D-Series includes the D40, D45, D50, D60, D62, D65, D70, and D80. 

The A-Series includes the A20, A22, A25, and A30.

  • The default username is ‘admin’
  • The default password is ‘789’

The Default Credentials for the S-Series

The S-Series includes the S205, S206, S300, S305, S400, S405, S406, S500, S505, S700, and S705.

  • The default username is ‘admin’
  • The default password is ‘admin’
  • The default password assigned by Endpoint Manager (EPM) is ‘222222’

How to Configure a Directory List on the Yealink T46U

Do you often find yourself spending so much time looking for a contact from a zillion lists? Yealink’s Directory feature is going to save you a lot of time! 

Directory gives you easy access to frequently used lists and you will be able to get to the lists simply by pressing the Directory soft key when the phone is in idle. Let’s check out how to configure this feature:

Steps to Configure a Directory List on Yealink Phones

Configuring via the web is the easiest way to go. 

  1. Login to the management page
  2. Select “Setting”
  3. Under Directory tab, you will be able to select the desired Directory and add it to the list

You can also configure Directory via auto provisioning.

  1. Download an auto provision template from Yealink’s website
  2. Unzip the file and find the xml file
  3. Now you need to modify the template to set up the directory list. ## Enable=1 means you want to add the item to the directory list. You can also rank the desired sources by configuring the priority.
  4.  
  5. Upload the template file to your provisioning server and specify the access URL in the configuration files.
  6. Add the URL to the configuration file and you are all set!
