Citel has recently released new firmware which corrects several issues with the C4110 SIP/IAX Phone.
You can download the latest firmware below. NOTE: the file is a .z file which will directly load to the phone; you don’t need to unzip it.
Amongst the issues corrected in this firmware release are:

the firmware is bad. doesn't loads...
Amir - we have performed the firmware upgrade here without a hitch....please follow these directions:
I have performed this upgrade to our Citel C4110. Here is the process I took:
-Save the .z file to your local desktop -Don't make any changes to it.
-With the Citel C4110 on the same network as your PC, gather the IP address of the Citel phone.
-From your PC, Open Internet Explorer and browse to the Citel's LAN IP address in the address bar.
-Upload the new firmware zip file.
I tried exactly that but got the "update fail!" messgae. I also tried through TFTP but with no success.
No matter the issue with the firmware my primary concern/issue is with the IAX configuration-
I got it registering, it even receives calls but I can't make outbound calls. Now, while going through Citel's manual I noticed that there should be a check box in the IAX configuration telling the device that the IAX is the default protocol for outgoing calls (page 26). I can’t find that check box no where.
The software version I have is: VOIP PHONE V1.7.277.280
The version they seemed to be using while writing this manual was V1.7.64.52 (top screenshot, page 18)
I’m using the latest downloadable firmware from Citel’s website.
Any insight would be appreciated.
they have now released another New Firmwarein sept ,it works for me.
Thanks Alex. I'll try it on a test ing device. Do you know if they have release notes for it?
