How to Transfer Calls on Sangoma P310 and P315 IP Phones

The Call Transfer function comes in handy when you need to efficiently direct a caller to the right person for information. Did you know that Sangoma’s P310 and P315 IP phones support three types of call transfer? Let’s check out how each of these three works!

  1. Assisted Call Transfer: You are able to inform the person on the other end that their call will be transferred.
  • During a call, press the Transfer button
  • Enter a number or press the Contacts softkey to find a number
  • Press the Dial softkey
  • When someone answers, inform them of the call to be transferred
  • Press the Transfer softkey, and the transfer is completed
  1. Unassisted Call Transfer: The person on the other end will not notice the transfer, which is also called Blind Call Transfer.
  • During a call, press the Transfer button
  • Enter a number or press the Contacts softkey to find a  number
  • Press the Transfer softkey, and the transfer is completed
  1. Transfer to Voicemail: This feature allows you to transfer a call directly to a contact’s voicemail
  • Use Contacts for a transfer
  • Press the Transfer VM softkey instead of Transfer
  • This transfers the call to that contact’s voicemail

The P310 and P315 IP Phones are entry-level phones with all the essential features for hospitals, education, manufacturing plants, airports, and even retail stores. Sangoma’s IP Phones’ value is further enhanced by built-in EHS support for the sangoma H10 and H20 Wireless Headset connectivity.
