First Look: Unidata SQ-3000 WiFi VoIP Video Phone
Korean vendor Unidata has just released a new entry into the WiFi VoIP phone market, with a few twists.
The Unidata SQ-3000 is a wireless SIP handsets for WiFi 802.11a/b/g network connectivity. We have done some basic testing with the Unidata SQ-3000 in the lab and have successfully registered with several Asterisk based platforms.
We have not had a chance to test any of the advanced features of the SQ-3000 beyond basic extension-to-extension calling. Look for future coverage of the Unidata SQ-3000 in the coming weeks.
The Unidata SQ-3000 stands out a bit from WiFi VoIP phone offerings from competing manufacturers, in terms of the feature set it promises. A few of these features include:
