ACTi announced their Standalone NVRs ENR-1100, ENR-1200, and ENR-2000 as End of Life and replaced each with the the ENR-120, ENR-130, and ENR-140.

ACTi NVRs are popular components to any ACTi system. It’s sad to see a few of their models go, but the replacements are making the parting of ways a little sweeter.

ACTi ENR-120

  • 2-Bays

ACTi ENR-130

      • 16-Channels / Supports 16 IP Cameras or Video Encoders
      • Live view for up to 16 displays
      • Recording Frame Rate: Max 480 fps in total; Max 30 fps per camera
      • Max Recording Throughput: 48 Mbps
      • Record video; Play alert beep; Activate external device through digital output; E-mail notification with snapshots; Enlarge; video loss; Go to PTZ preset point

ACTi ENR-140

      • 4-Bays
      • 16-Channels / Supports 16 IP Cameras or Video Encoders
      • Live view for up to 16 displays
      • Recording Frame Rate: Max 480 fps in total; Max 30 fps per camera
      • Max Recording Throughput: 48 Mbps
      • Record video; Play alert beep; Activate external device through digital output; E-mail notification with snapshots; Enlarge; video loss; Pop-up instant playback; Go to PTZ preset point

These new desktop network video recorders share dozens of useful functions for today’s tech-savvy and progressive consumer:

      • H.264 Video Compression
      • PCM, G.711 a-law/u-law (only support local recording and remote live view/playback)
      • Up to 4-Megapixel (local display) / Up to 10-MP (remote display)
      • Digital zoom
      • Live view of up to 2 streams for dual stream devices
      • Pan, tilt, zoom and speed control
      • Up to 32 Preset points and Tour capability
      • USB based joystick support
      • User defined schedules to record video
      • Record video when the alarm event is triggered, including the pre-event buffered video clip or Instant recording upon mouse click
      • Search video recordings by time, channel or bookmark / Search event triggered video recordings, event response video loss
      • Video motion detection; External device through digital input; Network loss and recovery

Other features include export video clips in AVI/RAW format, support for multi-group/users, live view/playback/setup/remote level permission, and 1 local or 2 remote clients. Of course, operating systems matter as well: the ACTi-ENR runs on an embedded Linux operating system.

Remote access is all the rage, and the ENR network video recorders are created with that in mind. The NVR can be accessed through a remote PC through the internet browser Microsoft Internet Explorer (versions 9, 10 or 11). The Remote Client PC System Requirements will be at least an Intel Core 2 Quad 2.66 GHz, 32/64-bit and with 4GB RAM.

The free mobile device application, ACTi Mobile Client, supports live view, PTZ control, event or time based search and playback. Supported devices are the iPhone, iPad, iTouch and Android device.
