Sangoma Zulu Q&A Session:

Q: For using the phone function of Zulu. Do you need SIP or RTP to open? Or is it just the Zulu server port?

A: Just the Zulu communication ports and this is only for remote clients.

Q: How much history for chat is kept?

Chat history is stored locally on the desktop or mobile client. The file is small, so it is never deleted by the application. Wiping the device or reloading an OS would delete the chat history.

Q: Is there a way to make Zulu smaller and still functional? The current softphone and chat clients are much smaller.

A: Yes, you can make it much smaller. The client was maximized for demonstration purposes on this webinar. We were able to show the client being resized and moved around the desktop.
